Blog #5: Q&A Part 2

This is GG and yay it’s time for my blog! So I thought quite hard about this and decided to add a little addition to dear Safiya’s Blog #3 (Click here to read: Blog #3: Who’s Who?) and help you to understand the members much better. Well, I did this with a little twist. I asked each member of the band to answer some questions without telling them why I had asked them the questions or that it had anything to do with the band. So basically, no one knows what the others have said and so this will be a surprise for both you and them. Enjoy!

1. If you could swap lives with a person, who would it be? They could be a friend, celebrity, or a fictional character etc. They could be alive or dead.

Tilly: I’d be a fictional character. Maybe Pipin from Lord of the Rings.

Claudia: Kim Kardashian

Athena: I have no clue. Someone who gets to travel the world a lot but still has money?

Safiya: Maybe… Someone like Jo from Little Women or Elizabeth from Pride and Prejudice? Because they have their lives in order, don’t go through anything too drastic and end up happily and are cool

GG: Thalia from the Percy Jackson series I suppose. But being allowed to date guys.

BK: I’d probably swap likes with ~SOMEONE~ (We don’t know who it is either) because she’s so amazing at everything

Sana: Elon Musk

 

2. If someone wrote a biography about you, what do you think the title should be?

Tilly: Don’t Drink and Drive.

Claudia: How not to live a life

Athena: Either ‘101 ways to destroy instruments’ or ‘Tubular bells stunted my growth: how to survive in the world of music with a Grade 8 in playing triangles’. Maybe ‘Are you trying to de-throne me as trip queen?’

Safiya: Sort of depends whether I get my life together later, but if it was just up ‘til now… ‘Trying (and failing?) to get your life together’

GG: The Secret to Wrecking Yourself

BK: How to Do Many Things Averagely

Sana: Loud but not really proud

 

 

3. If you were an animal, what kind of animal would you be?

Tilly: Bat or armadillo.

Claudia: A giant fluffy cat or a Samoyed doggo

Athena: If I could be an animal, I would love to be a platypus because they’re cute and potentially deadly

Safiya: Cat. Attention, being stroked, lying in sun, athletic, cool and gorgeous, slinky, can do whatever they want

GG: A wolf. I like wolves. They are so mysterious and cool.

BK: A meerkat because I’m very curious and jumpy

Sana: Shiba because I’m halfway between cat and dog

 

4. If you won £20 million in the lottery, what would you do with the money?

Tilly: I’d buy a super nice mandolin and save the rest.

Claudia: Save lots or invest it to get more >:3

Athena: I would donate £5 million to different charities, and then spend the remaining money on travelling, cruising, going to tons of concerts, spending it on expensive food, saving it for university (or college in America) and further education so I don’t have to worry about debts and student loans. Also buying a studio and then loads of instruments to fill this studio. And then leaving about £5 million untouched in case of emergencies.

Safiya: Save most of it, donate some, buy things for my friends, go to concerts, buy nice clothes, eat at a fancy restaurant!!! Buy really pretty old style books

GG: Save some of it so that I can lead a comfortable life with no debts and have money for university-related issues, donate money to charity, help save lives, travel the world, use it to train to become a pilot, go to as many conventions as I like, start a business, buy a big house, buy cool clothes, buy lots of books, spend it with friends; fun stuff. But not spending it all at once, being sensible, with plenty of money left over.

BK: I would build schools and hospitals in war-torn countries

Sana: iTunes and a comfortable nice house, not too big, and save the rest of it

 

5. Cake or pie?

Tilly: Cake unless my mum made the pie.

Claudia: Both

Athena: Cake over pie any day

Safiya: Cake. But only a very specific type. Basically, light and spongey, without icing but with fruit on top, lots of fruit, and inside a layer of cream with surprise bits of fruit inside. And this sort of crust thing around the outside, but not crust. A thing. With a very small sprinkling of icing sugar. You get it from Patisserie Valerie (A patisserie found in many locations in the UK). The only cake I like. Apart from cupcakes. But only specific cupcakes. Only cupcakes from a specific recipe.

GG: Cake. Not that fond of pies.

BK: Pie

Sana: Cake

 

6. If you could pick a new first name, what would it be?

Tilly: I’d probably stick with Tilly.

Claudia: Chris or Cry

Athena: …hmm tough question cause I love my first name but probably Alina

Safiya: Percy.

GG: Ray

BK: Idk about new first name. That’s a hard one.

Sana: I’d keep mine

 

Now, looking back at question 2, I realise that some of us are quite negative about ourselves…. so I decided to ask the members to come up with a biography title for each other! Fun, I know. Sadly, some of us did get stuck, but here are the responses that I managed to collate.

Athena’s answer: I’ll cut you with my cheekbones and glare if you touch my mandolin

Safiya’s answer: How to Be a Huge Dork and Still Have People Who Think You’re Cool

GG’s answer: How to Be THE MASTER… of All Things Music

BK’s answer: How to intimidate people before they know you and resemble the rat from ratatouille

Sana’s answer: I’m not a scene kid

AAAAND THAT’S A WRAP! I tried to type everything up exactly as the members typed it, so it includes special things like punctuation (there is a member who uses full stops all the time) and how we elaborate on things etc (I truly love how detailed Safiya goes with her answers!)
