Blog #5: Q&A Part 1

This is GG and yay it’s time for my blog! So I thought quite hard about this and decided to add a little addition to dear Safiya’s Blog #3 (click here to read: Blog #3: Who’s Who?) to help you get to know the members much better. Well, I did this with a little twist. I asked each member of the band to answer some questions without telling them why I had asked them the questions or that it had anything to do with the band. So basically, no one knows what the others have said and so this will be a surprise for both you and them. Enjoy! 🙂

1. As a kid, what did you want to be when you were older?

Tilly: Engineer and organist.

Claudia: A doctor/surgeon always

Athena: I had no clue what I wanted to be but I always knew I would never get into medicine

Safiya: A FARMER, HANDS DOWN, FROM NURSERY TO YEAR NINE

GG: An astronaut

BK: An author

Sana: A full time mum

 

2. If you could have one superpower, what would it be?

Tilly: To read minds.

Claudia: Materialising anything I want out of thin air

Athena: Being super fast or reading minds. Or maybe being able to control time.

Safiya: Well this is complicated. Basically, I wouldn’t want to control people’s thoughts or make them think something, but I would want to be able to put the thought into their head, as in, you know how sometimes you think something and then you’re like ‘no I don’t think that lol’ and it’s all fine and you carry on, a bit like that. My favourite way to describe it is if thoughts and actions were paths in your head, I wouldn’t want to make someone go down a path, I would just want to be able to make that path appear, and they can decide themselves whether they want to go down it or not. That way it’s still them. I’m just allowing them to consider.

GG: The power to copy other superpowers would be my first answer. But what if you are the only one with a superpower? Yikes. So I guess teleportation or reading minds.

BK: Ability to undo actions

Sana: Speak in any language fluently

 

3. If you had a time machine, where would you go?

Tilly: I’d probably go to concerts.

Claudia: Dinosaurs ??

Athena: I would go and revisit my best memories including Warped Tour

Safiya: The Black Parade is Dead concert, the Panic! At the Disco live in Denver concert, basically just concerts.

GG: Time travel is messy. If I end up dying in the past, that would be quite sticky, so I would have to be super careful. I guess to the beginning of the world so that I could understand what really happened. Dinosaur period is super cool so that is a definite yes. But yeah, I would avoid time travel as it may change timelines or create a worse one by accident, y’know, ‘big ball of wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff’. Unless it can possibly save the world, because, then HECK YEAH!

BK: I would go back to the day when Trump was born and make sure there is a little accident in the hospital (personal political opinion please do not take offence)

Sana: Alexandria so I can save all the books in the library

 

4. Are you the friend who is super drunk and vomiting or the one who is helping the one vomiting?

Tilly: I wouldn’t be either; I’d have left by then.

Claudia: Drunk

Athena: I’m the friend that doesn’t drink at all and so is responsible for everyone drinking and taking videos of people doing dumb stuff

Safiya: Probably super drunk

GG: It depends on the situation… but I’d probably be drunk.

BK: I am the helping-hold-back-hair friend.

Sana: Helping at first and then vomiting later

 

5. Favourite movie/TV series?

Tilly: Doctor Who.

Claudia: Guardians of the Galaxy or like something else

Athena: For movie, I would have to say probably Deadpool or Kingsman. For TV, I would have to say 24

Safiya: Ip Man probably

GG: I have too many favourites; Doctor Who, Merlin (*CRIES*), Supernatural, Sherlock, The Flash, Supergirl, Lucifer…. Yeah I am quite emotionally invested in TV shows.

BK: Movie – 10 Things I Hate About You. TV – probably Arthur LOL

Sana: The Imitation Game

 

6. Favourite book?

Tilly: Maybe Watchmen (by DC Comics)

Claudia: The dictionary

Athena: YOU CAN’T MAKE ME CHOOSE AHHHH

Safiya: I’ve got to say When You Reach Me (by Rebecca Stead)

GG: I am not choosing. No way. This is such a tough question, goodbye.

BK: Land of Stories by Chris Colfer at the moment

Sana: Gerald Durrell’s book about being on Corfu as a kid and having all these animals in his house
